Soul's PC
« on: April 14, 2011, 03:18:57 AM »
CPU: Intel i7 950 @ 3.1
RAM: 3 x 2GB Kingston @ 2000
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 TI Direct CU2 1g
Motherboard: GA-X58A-UD3R
PSU: Xigmatek 750
Tower: HAF Coolermaster 932
Monitor: Benq 24 inch LCD
Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow
Mouse: Razer Mamba
Joystick: Logitech Extreme 3D Pro (hardly use it though)

Very modest compared to some, but all in all a good PC considering it didn't cost much over $1500 to build.

solid for the price man. if i can remember exactly these are the spec's of my pc i built at the end of 2009:

CPU: i7 920 OC'd at 3.4Ghz
GPU: Radeon 5850, slight OC
RAM: 6GB (can;t remember exact model or spec's, but very decent)
Win 7 Pro 64
808gb WD HDD
Noctua CPU Cooler
Can't remember case

Paint $1600 all up. Also bought a 22" LG LCD for $400 which looks sick on the HDMI

I miss my pc =(((

Haha nice, i was gonna get around to overclocking someday, but atm the CPU and GPU are both running at fairly high (near the end of the safe zone) so i'd need extra cooling, stock fans and heatsinks on them atm so /shrug. using the HAF 932 case, which i'm quite happy with to be honest lol. which of course, supports liquid cooling if i decide it's worth the money lol.

Ummm i'm not at Home so i'll have to try and remember.

Mobo : INTEL SOCKET 1366 Gigabyte ATX advanced something or other.
Memory : 6gb DDR3 Corsair RAM
GFX : 2 x Radeon 5870 running in Crossfire
Processsor: i7 950
A REALLY BIG PSU

How do you find your BENq 24"? Rate it? 1-5 and are you happy?  Curious because my mate has stumbled across one for me pretty cheap, yet we both have had no previous experience with them.  Also any suggestion on monitors anyone? price bracket 150 - 200.............. I be getting a new pc soon!!!!! got the go ahead from the misses and that the cash is there to start!!! WOOOO HOOO, can't wait!!!  Here's what I'm looking at:

Case: Coolermaster RC 371 with 550w extreme power PSU
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H61M-USB3-B3 but more likely go Z67 or Z68
Processor: Core i3-2100 at least, but most likely Core i5-2400
RAM: (8GB)
Hard Drive: (1TB)
DVD/CD Drive:  X16 SuperMulti DVD±R/RW Double Layer burner
Video Card:  Gigabyte 1GB GTX560OC, maybe higher depending on price and availability
OS:  Windows 7 home premium 64 bit

Will bet the shit out of my lappy!!!!!!!!!!! Like Arny Vs. Urlce

OC'ed to I7 965+ (from 3.06 GHz to 3.22GHz)
also OC'ed my graphics card CPU from 830MHz to 950MHz
OC'ed Graphics card with clocks linked so Shader and memory clocks are up about 200 each so
1904 for shader clock and 2004 for memory clock.
