fucking pissed off tho caus the mobo is STILL not taking ram in the right hand two slots (BSOD when trying to boot windows.)

ive had the mobo out and been over the socket theres basically no way its still a bent pin.

so wtf?

Have you checked your manual to make sure you've put your RAM in the right slots. I know that sounds simple and you have probably done it but there is a specific order the RAM has to put into the slots if this is not done correctly can cause the RAM to fail.

no, i know to check the manual for which dimm slots are which for operating in dual channel. as a matter of fact at the moment i cant run dual channel (but it posts fine anyway) because the second slot on each channel is the fucked one.

if it were an older model of mobo id probably only be able to run one stick like this (and thus wouldn't be fucking hanging on like this trying to fix it).

is ur ram all the same frequency? u cant mix diff types of ram chips, u probably know that tho.

ive even tried two different types of matched pair (so now i have some cheapie 8gb kits that are gonna replace the 2gb and 4gb kits i had running in the second pc, anyone interested?)

corsair 2x1gb kit and corsair 2x2gb kit. p sure they're ddr3-800. they worked together on my c2d gigabyte mobo. they're same brand and frequency but slightly different latencies due to.different sizes shouldnt caus a prob with most mobos.
