PR; Does the deathtoll ring?
« on: September 18, 2011, 10:28:30 PM »
8pm on a sunday night, now i know its always been a slow night but anyway
8pm on a sunday night there is 2 on bf2 server 1 and only 1 on Pr Arma.

Did the PR team make a massive misjudgement when they created PR arma the
community was barely big enough for one game it will never be big enough for both.

Not only that the Arma online community is not very big. So if the Pr team hoped that
by creating a PR arma we would win members over from the Arma community.

PR has fucked itself basically I'm being dramatic when i say PR is dead because the small
community left is very dedicated and i think it will outlast the current trend. However till
the full version of PR arma is released the commmunity will hang in the balance.

Yes this looks to be a problem.. Most of the better dedicated PR players are trying the ArmA II PR which is leaving the BF2 Server full of noobs that are not playing the game correctly. Not to mention the excessive amount of hackers that have reared their heads of late.

eh the server still gets forty plus players every night while arma 2 only gets around fifteen. it finishes up earlier but there's always plenty of other games to go onto, this being games season and all. bf3 beta next Tuesday/wednesday! also deus ex 3 is taking a long time to get through with the small amount of time I have to throw at it. space marines just sitting there and skyrim is a couple months away.

I've hardly seen over 20 people playing at any time since the beta came out >.< lol
Finished Deus Ex in 3 days and Skyrim will prolly take me a week if i do side quests.. and it's not out yet :(

too many game companies trying to spam games for money.. no game anymore is fully loaded coz all gamers accross the world have too many choices and it will only get worse unless we stop buying new games based on advertising, like bf3 etc. i aint touching that shit till i know for a fact its playable and not another junk game that wins ppls hearts with graphics alone

Im actually playing CoH over PR. I am really not enjoying the game and given the fact that half of the community jumped ship at the drop of a hat that doesn't exactly paint a great picture for when BF3 comes out.
