=]UG[= Training
« on: February 10, 2011, 04:44:34 AM »
greetings ppl,
UG or not regular training sessions or missions will be open for players every Monday night, anytime between 1600h Monday night and 400h Tuesday morning WA time. these times may even b stretched out either end if i don't have a lot going on or if alot of members happen to be on at the same time, if u catch me on other days i don't mind conducting trainings/tests then either but Monday will be the official time for now. you can find me either on the UG team speak, BIGD team speak, mumble, playing PR, email, BIGD forums, UG forums, MSN or face book. if im at the computer both team speak channels will have me in it and is the preferred way to contact me unless your not able to that way.

even if u already have learned a few things, practice makes perfect, and practicing with a large number of people is very educational, from communication and vehicles to timing and coordination etc. This isn't just about PR, this is about improving your soldiering skills overall.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Training:
Training will be lessons in military tactics, formations, communications, group assignment, leadership etc where if we had enough ppl could do small group vs group skirmish games to practice specific moves etc. Different Training levels will Distinguish players with different ranks(fundamentals for players that are new to the game and weapon handling).

Courses:
Basic (Battle Assault and Survival Inclination Course)
Fundamentals for working in a group, players will learn what it is to play as a group of any size.

ATAC (Advanced Tactical Assault Course)
For the more dedicated players who take a more serious role, which can qualify for basic leadership roles. these members will be considered experts in their field and will hold one of the most respected positions.

SCLC (Section Commanders Leadership Course)
This is a very theoretical training to give players a advanced knowledge of how to shape the battlefield using their fireteams, they will also qualify to be Commanding officers for any number of units. Command Tactics, methodology logistics etc will be the focus for this course.

Alternative Course:
Recon
Training for those who seek positions in the X-Ray sniper division will need to undergo this course. Consists of reconnaissance and reporting, personnel targeting, target marking, target lazing, expert scouting, camouflage.

MOUT(Military Operations in Urban Terrain)
Training in general urban tactics and a standard obligation for members of "RRAUT". Consists of urban movements and tactics, breaching, room clearance, anti-insurgency.

RRAUT(Rescue, Recovery And Urban Tactics)
An Elite unit for dedicated players that play at an independent level, RRAUT is attached to UG's Recon group(X-Ray) and focus's on close team/small unit operations in urban areas, accept tasks that involve specialized weapons, highly skilled tactics and/or methods(under the assistance and over watch of X-Ray). Also operate as engineers and recover vehicles or rescue personnel. RRAUT is only reserved for those with top notch soldiering skills and experience. A MOUT course is ongoing for members of this team.

Different prefix tags will soon come into the fray to improve group performance while in a real game, the non-UG members are welcome to use this system but its recommended that you officially join the clan and wear the tag as normal as it was designed.

Weapon Qualifications:
Standard rifle of the users choice. red dot/iron sights(CQB) and 4x optics(Ranged).
Light anti-tank weapons
Light machine guns
Marksman rifles
Sniper rifles
Heavy anti-tank missiles
Anti-Aircraft surface to air missile launchers
Grenades/Smoke/Signal Smoke
Under barrel grenade launchers
Boxing/melee
Special request kits by order of the SLIC
Rifleman AP
Rifleman AT
Rifleman Specialist
Anti-Aircraft
Heavy Anti Tank
Engineer
Marksman

Kits:
Medic
Rifleman Specialist
Officer
Rifleman Anti-Personnel
Engineer

Vehicles:
Unarmored vehicles
Peronnel carriers
Tanks
Mobile anti aircraft
Helicopter Transport
Helicopter Gunship
Fixed wing aircraft
Motorbikes
Logistics

Fixed assets:
Mortars
Fixed Anti Tank Missiles
Fixed Surface to Air Missiles
Asset Placement

Demonstrating use with different weapons/kits/vehicles/assets will give u a score point each and will drastically sway the influence determining your role within the unit you serve with. also during games, experts of certain skills will have priority to thos assets.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Missions:
Missions will be a scenario where a set number of players will have tasks/objectives in which to perform vs a chosen OPFOR group, the Special task team will be smaller in numbers and will only have 1 life in which to complete his mission, medics are aloud but no re-spawns are granted unless the mission requires a specific number of "waves". These missions will typically be fast paced but depending on the role and objective of the team will determine how long each match will go for, results will be recorded and awards will be given to players who demonstrate skills or mate ship, a "spit the dummy" award goes to a player if they rage or complain about being shot etc. even if the rego is shit and if its totally excusable u can still get that award Tongue

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Composure must be practiced to improve overall morale and focus, maturity is required.
an in-house ranking system will be scored through training and missions, where you will be assigned a position in our UG chain of command.

if any1 has ideas questions or wants to let me know if/when your available it will help me with planning and will make this easier and more fun so don't be a stranger. this will only work with ppl so invite friends and family to join us and have sum fun!
Transmission ended.
