saw u put it on facey lol, thats a fucken big update without letting us know what their doing ay. just updated it now, i hope i can run it without overheating, fingers crossed for optimizing it before they released it

oh and i did a shit load of tests with the fighter we made, i dunno if u have the tactics down but i find it very difficult to hit targets without sustaining massive damage or even defeat, it seems its a far better pursue  craft becoz of its awesome forward speed and low profile. i made an experimental one next to it kinda like the old alligator design that we made before and put the weapons more out of the edges so enemy auto turrets don't target areas around the cockpit, put duel industrials on each wing at 9o'clock and 3o'clock so its quite easy to maintain a range and orbit around it with a heap of firepower, on the outer edges of the wings and on the roof it has automated turrets so its not so dependent on my accuracy for disabling enemy auto turrets, i can worry about evasion and every now and then take shots if i am able. i want u to help me test targeting enemy ships with both designs or even other ones, to see what is a more effective style. in my solo tests the linear one didnt survive any fights and the other one i took out multiple targets big and small without repair, taking light damage only.

wow yeah really well done, turns to night and day, looks awesome. i tried to take screenshots but it glitches out and fucks my camera up so i have to reload, and screenshots nothing.. wierd

Well after mucking about with the GFX settings I got it running at about 30FPS while flying about on the Planet..

I Retro Fitted the good old Viper from our Galactia build with Atmos thrusters and it works quite well.

I think Flat your going to need to spec up your machine or get some decent cooling going on there mate.

Anyway here's a nice sunrise shot...

oh and been trying to build a haul pack, but spacey. seems theres a lot more options when u dont need to fly. i still have no concept of how im meant to build mining trucks tho, my bro explained how the operation on a mine works so i think i know how to do the open cut mining style, just need the equipment for it. but fuck not sure if trying to build a digger and a dozer will make much sense in this game. id imagine a drilling machine in the pit will have to be made with a cargo hauler that will transfer the rocks from drill to refinery back and forth. i rekon that would also rape my machine coz drills never agree with it.

lol pretty sick tho. i pulled apart my comp, polished the gpu and cpu reapplied the paste and it dropped about 15-20, i went in game and jet packed it over the planet a bit and drilled stuff, had no alarms going off. wasn't a very good test tho coz it was on single player but ill come on later and try. phone jack yet again had green death on the plug and cord ends, brand new filter put in and it gave me 10% packet loss. just fixed it for now. so everything is running as good as it gets for me. so hopefully space engineers will run better now

I lost our save it got corrupted after a blue screen which has something to do with the last update where they mention a graphics card detection change or some shit.
